The DPS Foundation is pleased to announce that we raised more than $25,000 from the generous community on Colorado Gives Day! We are so grateful to the committed supporters who invested in the children of our community and helped break the Colorado Gives Day record by generating more than $12 million for non-profit organizations statewide.

Thank you very much for your support and participation, which continues to enrich the lives of our students. Your gift will translate into tangible, lasting resources and opportunities for Denver’s students.

Tuesday, December 6 is Colorado Gives Day. When you make a contribution to the Denver Public Schools Foundation through the Community First Foundation website, your gift will be boosted by the FirstBank Incentive Fund. Furthermore, all credit card processing fees are covered, so 100% of your donation goes directly to work helping DPS students.

You can make an unrestricted gift to the DPS Foundation, or you may designate your contribution to one of our programs. If you wish to designate your gift, please select “program” from the dropdown under “Where do you want these funds to be directed,” and then type the name of the program you wish to designate for in the “special instructions or comments for the non profit” field. You may designate your gift for any of the following:

* Gifts of $100 or more designated for after-school programs may be eligible for a 50% Colorado state income tax credit. Due to a recent change in state law, the credit will be deferred (but not eliminated) for all gifts made in calendar year 2011. Click here to learn more.
